I'm in love with the Ey-Fi memory card!

About 2 years ago I switched from a B&W film camera to a nice little DSLR.

I love film photography and though it broke my heart to move away from it, I made the transition because it's more practical to use the digital process. The very things I love about film- developing it and exposing my own pictures are the same things I love about handmade. I am a process lover, this is probably the reason why I've always been drawn to crafting and skills that require many steps to master. I'm sad that the tools and equipment for film photography are slowly going away and the stuff that is left is expensive to get a hold of.

I've been focusing on taking more photos and have recently invested in a few things that have made me so excited to use my digital camera. One of my goals for this year was to take more pictures, and I have, but I am kind of lazy so i often have a full memory card of photos.

Until Now!

Basically the Eye-Fi is a memory card that transmits your photos to your computer and your Flickr account as you take the photos! Don't worry you can set it so that your photos are set to private on Flickr until you edit the pictures and change the permissions.

I was kind of skeptical, but now this memory card is all I use. Another cool feature is that you can download the App onto your I-phone and your photos upload from phone too!

My favorite thing? Being able to see my photo's as I'm taking them on a larger screen. This set up is perfect for a few up coming photo booths I'll be doing this Autumn.

What new tool has made your photography easier?

Trust me! It will take your productivity to a whole new level. I've taken more photos this past month than in the entire time I've had my DSLR. I'd love to hear about how you like it so please let me know.
